De Petit Noir 2009 van Cave Kouroum is een wijn met 50% Cinsault, 15% Grenache, 25% Carignan en 10% Syrah. De kleur is graatrood en redelijk diep; de geur is warm, zacht en zwoel door zowel wat flesrijping als het gulle warme klimaat en biedt aroma’s van rijp rood fruit als rode bessen en cranberry’s, aangevuld met wat zoete specerijen; de smaak is eveneens rijp, frisse zuren zoals in rinse rode bessen, zorgen voor voldoende spanning, wat tannine in de afdronk vraagt om eten. Nette balans.

Description:
Lovely bright garnet color with violet reflection. It has a complex nose with notes of fruits. The tannins are still young but well rounded, fresh medium bodied with smooth texture giving a good balance in the mouth with flavors of dark fruits.
Vinification:
The grapes are hand picked at the appropriate time and great attention is paid to the selection and transportation of the grapes; the fermentation process is traditional with malolactic fermentation.
Assorted food: Ideal to accompany all occasion and aperitifs.
